At least 12,000 young pilgrims are in Cebu for the National Youth Day organized by the Archdiocese of Cebu.
Some of the delegates are from earthquake stricken provinces and the pilgrims offered prayers for the victims.
The #NYD2019 main event will be on Saturday with a "camp out" at the grounds of the Cebu City Sports Center.
The delegates are billeted at the different Metro Cebu parishes of the Archdiocese
