The Police created a Special Investigation Task Group to look for at least 15 armed men who barged in the Bogo-Medellin Medical Center and killed former Medellin Mayor Ricardo Ramirez Tuesday night.
Investigators recovered 35 slugs of M4 rifle and a 9mm pistol inside Ramirez' hospital room.

Self-confessed killer Renato Llenes pleads Not Guilty to the Murder of Christine Silawan during arraignment today.
His lawyer said it is not a retraction of his statement that he killed the 16-year-old Silawan. They just wanted a lower charge of Homicide.

LTO-7 Director Victor Caindec says they are not yet enforcing the drive against noisy motorcycles or the ones with modified mufflers or Bora Bora.
He said they are still defining guidelines so that there will be no misinterpretation of the Order to apprehend these type of motorcycles.
Caindec also said they needed equipment like decibel meters too.

Cebu City Central High School is holding some of their classes under makeshift tents because their two new school buildings are still unfinished.
The construction was started in 2016 and until now, the buildings are still unuseable. School officials are promised that these buildings will be done within this school year.

A private firm is starting oil exploration onshore and offshore covering 50,000 hectares from Bogo City to Daanbantayan town in Northern Cebu.
Department of Energy officials also said the Alegria Oil Wells in Southern Cebu has also started expansion to tap the Natural Gas alongside the oil reserves there.
