Dengue cases in Central Visayas has reached over the 6,000 mark, one of the highest in the entire country.
From January to March this year, a total of 6,097 cases and 37 deaths have been recorded by DOH-7.
Health officials are advising residents to make sure that stored water (amid the dry spell) are properly covered. These could be potential breeding grounds for dengue-carrying mosquitos.
