Update: fire broke shortly before 10pm tonight within a congested residential area at the back of UP Cebu campus in barangay Kamputhaw in Cebu City. The area was also stricken by fire in the late 1990s. There are estimated 50 to 100 houses that have been totally destroyed in this ongoing fire.
